Come to the Edge

Come to the Edge by Christopher Logue:

Come to the edge.
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
It's too high!
Come to the edge!
And they came,
and he pushed,
and they flew.

I don't think I need to explain my feelings on this one. We as writers experience this a lot and I just wanted to share it with you. I hope you're flying high!

  3. I have an idea like this in the book I'm editing. Yes, from a young age we all adopt the dream to fly!

Trying to soar, but I feel like a baby chicken right now.

PS: beware of those symbol comments, they might be nasty stuff.

  8. This was great! My mother in law writes this on her students gifts that she gives them at the end of the year. She teaches the gifted program, so she has her students for about 4-5 years and she sends them off to the middle school.
I need a push right now!
